We're listing several pieces from our 1950's china set in the "Ceres" pattern for Easterling. So if you need pieces to complete your set, please be sure to check out our other auctions! In this listing, we have a bread & butter plate. It measures 6 1/4" in diameter.
Pieces were made in Bavaria Germany. Each piece has on the bottom of it "Made Expressly for Easterling in Bavaria Germany" and the pattern name "Ceres" all in gold lettering. Additionally, each of the dinner plates also has an impressed backwards letter E.
The pattern features shafts of wheat in shades of gray and the rolled edges are trimmed in platinum. We believe these were made in 1958. Very pretty set that has been discontinued. Condition on the pieces on this set are nearly pristine and without issues. We don't believe they were ever used. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
