We have a vintage hand-painted English gentleman figurine. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is 1 11/16" by 1 1/8" at the base. Piece is stamped on the bottom with "Made in Japan" in black.
The piece looks like it might have been broken and repaired at the base in the factory before it was painted and glazed. There are no cracks in the glaze or paint and no issues that we could find. No nicks, chips, breaks or missing paint.
