We have three pretty neat little trinket boxes. Are are hand made of some type of wood and are inlaid.
The first box is rectangular and measures 1 7/16" tall, 3 1/4" wide and 2 1/4" deep. Hand carved, hand-painted fish and lined with a gold material. There is come crazing (drying cracks) on the piece. No issues!
The second box has is round and has an inlaid rose and butterfly. The intricate design lines up the lid with the bottom. Bottom is lined with red fabric and has a paper lable with Chinese writing and in green, "Made in China AB12" and in purple "1911 / 3." Box is 3" around and stands 1 7/16" tall. Lid has some wear.
The third and last box is a round wood veneer with intricate inlays and a design that matches the lid to the bottom in reds, greens and blues. Red fabric lines both the lid and the bottom. Box measures 1 3/4" tall and 3 7/8" around. Bottom is stamped with and upside-down T and "22" in red. Also has a black stamp that is unreadable to us. Bottom has a green paper brick herringbone pattern with some wear and some veneer has been chipped away due to use.
All are very intricate and must have taken hours to create. Pretty little boxes!
