We have a vintage Rubens Originals pitcher made in Japan circa 1977. Pretty little pitcher stands 4 3/4" tall and is 5 1/2" from rim to handle.
Pitcher has hand painted flowers in blue, yellow and green. Impressed stamp on the bottom reads, "Japan 1977." Gold and red foil tag on the bottom reads, "Rubens Originals Los Angeles Made in Japan."
We found the tiniest crack in the glaze exactly on the rim and to the right of the handle. We also found four flea flecks along the inside of the mouth. The crack and two of the flecks have been glazed over leading us to believe they were done PRIOR to being glazed and fired. The two remaining nicks are very very tiny. No other issues!
